i told you we just finished a new photoshoot project didn't i? well we did. and as you can see it was another collaboration with fashionBFF phi-style. our inspiration? the emma watson teen vogue shoot + maison michel's lace bunny ears. There was a lot of DIY for this shoot, tramanh was the hair and makeup artist, don't you just love it? and we both helped make ears, and flower accessories for the shoot.

and did i mention that we had two photographers... these lovelies are by the super talented annie of anniecat photography.. thanks so much for making us look. well purty goot. :) because there was much awkward.. almost as much as there were mosquitos. of course dru was our other photog... his version of the shoot next time.

also where have i been? why haven't i been updating and/or commenting again.. well after last my cousin's wedding last month.. now roz (remember her? the other gal in the mask shoot) is getting married next saturday.. and well this saturday is her bachelorette... so yah. totally busy.

I just adore holiday decor.. and halloween is no exception as you can see by just a smidgen of touches i have around the house.. i was inspired to post these photos after seeing lar and cath's mom's exquisite halloween tablescape.. it's AMAZING.

and if you're in some need of ideas of your own and on the cheap.. i noticed that kmart actually has some videos online with some halloween decorating tips!

now i just need to figure out a costume for saturday... i don't think i can beat last years costume.

the proportions are probably a bit weird in this outfit.. but i liked it. and i just love mens button ups. they go with everything.

hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. i had longest saturday ever.. and most random. wine and cognac for lunch, then a car show and street fighter 4 tournament, then bar and late night korean foods and ended the day at 4am. it was like it was 2001.

last night at the Junior Boys concert.. which was superbly awesome. i've been waiting to see them since 2004. it was also halloween themed.. hence the somewhat costume-y concert wear and big hair. although it was so freakin' hot in the venue that my hair was straight and flat by the end of the night.

revlon sent us over a few samples of their latest products which included the revlon fantasy length eyelashes. and MY OH MY. check out jeannie's fabulous lashes. gorgeous and definitely not over the top. I've personally never been able to pull off the fake lashes.. but these have changed my mind. plus they come in a variety of styles and they're self adhesive.

also check out the runway collection nails. definitely fun and affordable to play with for a night out.

The other night, on a whim, I went to meet up my favorite makeup artist buddy. We went to a cute 24 hour cafe for chocolate pie & cheesecake. Overdressed? I think not! There's always room for fun fashion - anywhere, anytime, anyhow!

went to see muse+U2 the other night. it was good, except for the traffic that made me hear the ending of map of the problematique in the parking lot as we walked towards reliant stadium. at least i got to hear the rest of their minimal set. U2 was awesome, but seats were high up, and not suitable for rocking out. the stadium nachos were also good.

next week... junior boys. CANNUT WAIT.

unless you've been living under a rock.. or um.. not following fashion blogs, then you'd know how lace up boots are a must have item, and Dr. Martens shoes have been making a serious comeback lately, especially in the high fashion realm. They could be seen pounding the runway of the Jean Paul Gaultier show,all over lookbooks for Yohji Yamamoto, Karl Lagerfeld and Hermés, and in high gloss in mags like Vogue and Wallpaper*

i would just love a pair of the vintage lace-ups for myself (size 5.5).. speaking of which, onlineshoes.com has a wide selection..
